1. Who we are
WowCoach Forever (forever.wowcoach.gg, the “Service”) is operated by WowCoach, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we”, “us”). It is a separate service from WowCoach.gg with its own systems and its own data. This policy covers WowCoach Forever only.
2. What we collect
Your combat logs
When you analyze a log, your browser reads the file and shows the report right away. If you are signed in with a current membership, the log is also uploaded, compressed, to our storage, and our servers read it to keep the run as a report with its own link. If you are not signed in, the log is read only in your browser and is not uploaded.
A combat log records what happened in the game around you: the names of the characters in your group and of other players nearby, and what each of them did. We keep an uploaded log and the report made from it until you delete that report or your account.
If you upload a World of Warcraft: Forever log to WowCoach.gg instead, WowCoach.gg passes it to WowCoach Forever under the same Battle.net account, and it appears here as one of your reports.
Information you give us
- Battle.net sign-in. Your Battle.net account identifier and BattleTag. We do not receive or store your email address or your Battle.net password.
- Saved runs. When you choose to save a run to your journal, we store a summary your browser prepared from the log: the instance and difficulty, the encounters with their durations and results, the character names in your group with their totals (damage, healing, deaths, interrupts and dispels), and the deaths with the events just before them. A summary is limited to 64 KB. Nothing is saved unless you press save.
- Payments. Stripe, Inc. handles checkout and billing. We never see your card number. We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers linked to your account and your subscription’s status and renewal date.
- Messages. If you email us, we have the address you wrote from and use it only to reply.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our API records each request for security and troubleshooting: the address requested, the time, the result and timing. Production logs are deleted after 14 days.
- Sign-in session. After you sign in, your browser keeps a session token in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- No analytics. WowCoach Forever runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and our fonts are served from our own site.
- Spell and class icons. Reports show the game’s spell and class icons, loaded from Wowhead (wow.zamimg.com). Your browser connects to Wowhead’s servers to fetch them, which receive your IP address and browser details under Wowhead’s own privacy policy. Nothing about your log is sent.
Information from WowCoach.gg
Paid WowCoach.gg plans include WowCoach Forever. To check this, when you sign in we read only your WowCoach.gg plan, its expiry date and whether that account is approved and active. We keep the result for 15 minutes, or up to 24 hours if WowCoach.gg cannot be reached. We never change anything in your WowCoach.gg account.
3. How we use it
- To sign you in, read the logs you upload, keep your reports and journal and show them back to you
- To check and manage your membership and process payments
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce daily save and upload limits
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or send it to AI services.
4. Who can see your data
Your reports and saved runs are visible only to you. WowCoach Forever has no public reports, leaderboards or sharing. We share data only with the providers that run the Service for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments) and Blizzard Entertainment (Battle.net sign-in). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
A combat log records everyone in your group, so a saved run includes your groupmates’ character names. In line with Blizzard Entertainment’s policies, character names and game data belong to Blizzard and are not treated as personal information.
5. How long we keep it
- Saved runs: until you delete them or delete your account
- Sign-in sessions: until you sign out or the session expires
- Server logs: 14 days in production
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
6. Your choices and rights
On your account page you can download everything we hold about your account and delete any saved run or your whole account. Reading, exporting and deleting always work, whether or not you have an active membership. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as correction or objection. Email privacy@wowcoach.gg and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, and each environment’s data is kept in its own isolated storage. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at support@wowcoach.gg if you find a problem.
8. Children
The Service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, show a notice on the Service.
