How can we help?

Email support@wowcoach.gg about anything: a log that will not read, a billing question or a bug. We answer every message.

Two-minute setup

Recording a combat log

  1. Turn on Advanced Combat Logging

In the game, open the System menu, choose Network and turn on Advanced Combat Logging. It adds the details WowCoach Forever reads, such as health and position.

  2. Start logging before the first pull

Before you enter the dungeon or raid, type /combatlog in chat. The game confirms that combat logging is on.

  3. Play, then stop logging

Play as normal. Leave logging on until the last boss is dead, then type /combatlog again to stop.

  4. Find the file

The game writes the file to the Logs folder inside your World of Warcraft: Forever installation. Its name starts with WoWCombatLog.

Logging has to be on before a pull starts. A boss you fought before turning it on cannot be recovered from the file.

Reading it in WowCoach Forever

Open Analyze and choose the file. Your browser reads it; nothing is uploaded. Large raid logs can take a minute.

What it covers

WowCoach Forever covers dungeons and raids. Logs of questing or the open world are not analyzed.
